I have been in this relationship a long time and we see each other a lot. He likes me I know. He knows I like him. Yet I feel we are getting nowhere. He's been married twice and have been alone for five years. I've been devoused three years and I'm ready to be in a REAL relationship. Should I just keep on getting nothing from him even though he's a great person, or should I just move on? I really like him and I've been ready to be a true girl friend.

If you don't feel like you're getting what you need from this situation, then you need to tell him how you feel. Be prepared, though, for the possibility that he doesn't want to get more serious. Know what you're going to say if he says he wants to keep things casual and non-committed. Stand your ground and tell him what you need and want from him. If you really want a real relationship (and it sounds like you do) then he needs to know that things are going to have to move in that direction -- or you'll move on in a new direction away from him.

Yes, you need to bring it out in the open. Otherwise you will continue to be a booty call. You say you know he likes you a lot, but how? If that was the case why has he not tried to take things further? I say put your cards on the table see his response, and if it's not your answer then move on.

He probably knows how you feel and it's not you he likes as much as the no strings sex. I'd move on and find someone who wants a serious relationship.

Honestly I think that you should tell him how you feel, because if it is not going anywhere he needs to know that you want more from him. If he can not accept that he may need to change up his ways then you may need to move on.

There is no need to buy a chicken if you're getting the eggs for free.

forget about him. i'm surprised you're still interested in him after he went and married someone else, then again, someone else, and you stood on the sidelines and supported him in that way. you should respect yourself more, cut him off and let him get his kicks elsewhere ...
