Is there a good 5 piece drum set i can get for under $1000?

i am looking for a good 5-piece drum set without the cymbols, preferably for under $1000. PLEASE help me out whoever knows anything about drums.

Go to www.guitarcenter.com and check out their 50% off sale.

I am looking at the Gretsch set right now myself. Comes with a free additional tom so it would be a 6 piece for $575 I think.

I don't work there and I am not affiliated with them. Just a great bargain hunter.

The set gets great reviews too....
