The Holy Spirit usually refers to
The Angel Gabriel.
For example:
"And the Holy Sprit came to you with a revelation"
or something like that.
Also sometimes in the Quran it might say something like
"And I sent the Holy Spirit in the form of a dream"
In this sense it means the message.
Like Allah would send the message in the form of a dream to a prophet.

We worship the Holy Spirit. XD
The word Holy spirit translate to Alqodoos in arabic, which is one of the 99 alternative names to Allah, howevet we don't believe in the trinity, We believe in only one God, Allah or like christians name him "The Holy Spirit"
We believe Jesus is a prophet and not the son of God, and for the father, we believe Jesus has no Biological father, And his birth is a miracle, and as far as I know, We believe Virgin Mary, died a virgin.

Yes, angel Gabriel is the holy spirit, but we dont call him ''holy'' in the same sense as christians. Gabriel is the highest angel in ranking among the angels, he is the one who is in charge of delivering God's messages to His prophets and he was the one sent to Virgin Mary.
''The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by ((Allah)) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right.''(38:78)
''Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah.s permission, on every errand'' (4:97)

2:87 And We indeed gave Moses the Book and We sent messengers after him one after another and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear arguments and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it then that whenever there came to you a messenger with what your souls desired not, you were arrogant? And some you gave the lie to and others you would slay.
2:253 We have made some of these messengers to excel others. Among them are they to whom Allah spoke, and some of them He exalted by (many) degrees of rank. And We gave clear arguments to Jesus son of Mary, and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. And if Allah had pleased, those after them would not have fought one with another after clear arguments had come to them, but they disagreed; so some of them believed and some of them denied. And if Allah had pleased they would not have fought one with another, but Allah does what He intends.
5:110 When Allah will say: O Jesus, son of Mary, remember My favour to you and to your mother, when I strengthened you with the Holy Spirit; you spoke to people in the cradle and in old age, and when I taught you the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel, and when you did determine out of clay a thing like the form of a bird by My permission, then you did breathe into it and it became a bird by My permission; and you did heal the blind and the leprous by My permission; and when you did raise the dead by My permission; and when I withheld the Children of Israel from you when you came to them with clear arguments -- but those of them who disbelieved said: This is nothing but clear enchantment.
16:102 Say: The Holy Spirit has revealed it from your Lord with truth, that it may establish those who believe, and as a guidance and good news for those who submit.

There is no Holy Allah so how can there be a Holy Spirit? For those who say, "Allah is God in Islam." No where in the Bible does it ever refer to God as Allah...

The work of the Holy Spirit in Christianity is to bring lost sinners to Christ. So unless Islam believes that Jesus Christ is God, who came into the world to die for sinners and saves us by grace. That Christ is the only way to the Father. Also, that the Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity. If they believe that then, yeah.

Jihad (to attempt and conflict contained in the way of God) in Islam is of two aspects. the most known and misconstrued theory is the "lesser conflict" or to conflict in defence of Islam, many times time-honored because the holy warfare. The "better conflict" is the conflict interior the self - to steer a fantastic Muslim existence, to spread the message of Islam, to be a fantastic significant different, etc. (very very like following the ten commandments, etc.) the element is interior of each faith there'll be diverse interpretations, for this reason you've the likes of your suicide bombers who believe that they are practising the lesser conflict. Even Christianity has diverse sects and denominations (orthodox, protestant, born back, etc.) and those adjustments in evaluations have usually cases brought about religious wars. Take the Christian Crusades as a fantastic celebration. This one become SANCTIONED via the Pope contained in the call of Christianity. Its purpose? to recapture jerusalem from muslims. crusades were also observed campaigns released antagonistic to pagans and heretics. the position's the religious freedom in that? Muslims were no longer the merely ones who killed for his or her faith. some people are even worst, killing for funds, or excitement. some people also are merely sensationalizing terrorism with out understanding the truth behind events like 9/11. Watch fahrenheit 9/11 for yet another perspective about this count number. some people also are of the opinion that in case you do not wrestle on your faith, then that is a lifeless faith.
