Okay my friend likes this guy at our school and me my bf and almost all our other friends r telling her to ask him out. She is still neervous and wants more guys points of view on whether to ask him or wait for him to ask. We got them to slow dance and she alot of fun and when we asked him he was I can not stand seeing her like this and need to know she should ask him out or not.

Honestly, the girl should NEVER ask the guy out. Those relationships never work out. Men were made to be the leader. Just hint to him that she likes him. I never would want to ask a girl out until I was SURE she liked me. I was scared of getting turned down. Give him some time first, just to see what happens, and then let him know.

She should ask him out, the worst that can happen is that he says no. Or someone tell the guy to ask her out.

I don't know what age group this is in reference to, but I have a friend who is 29 and acts like this. I hate it...if you want something you go for it! Treat it like shopping, "Yes please, I'll have one of those!" But if they are indeed just terribly shy then let her come out of her shell on her own. You simply can't force people to live their lives. You'd be amazed! Good luck!

I think if she wants to ask him out she should. If she doesn't then she shouldn't. It's 2007...boy asks girl out; girl asks boy out; boy asks boy out....whatever. I wouldn't worry about it too much. It doesn't sound like you guys are old enough to really be worrying about boy stuff.

Yes, she should ask him. The worst thing that could happen is he says, "no". But he won't ever say "yes" unless he's asked.
