Today my fiance' realized that my son dranked his ginger ale. when we got home last night we took it out of the freezer. let the ice chiil off it. He went to drink it last night and noticed it was opened and half gone. I knew my son dranked it cause he was in the kithchen looking for something to eat anyway to make a long story short we get up this morning and my son comes in our room . My fiance' goes" you f**** fat mutha f**** how you jus gonna drink my sh*t i dont know where yur f**** mouth has been" I instantly defended my son cause he was out of line for talking to him like that over a 0.50 soda not even a canada dry!!! well the wedding is off i put him out and now my son came home from school sad thinking he's the reason the wedding is off any advice.
p.s. this is a guy who doesn't have children and treated mine like his for 2years this is the first time he ever got like that. i just think he took his authority too far what ya'll think? im pissed we jus wasted 7,000 for nothing

This is a hard one. I see where your coming from by kicking him out and calling off the wedding. But then again there may have been more to this instead of it just being over a soda. Did you talk to him about cussing at your son and find out that there isnt anything bothering him to make him act out in such an improper manner? I assume you did. Some people react without thinking and thats the first thing they do is yell, scream or cuss when something of thiers was messed with. Instead of kicking him out and calling off the wedding right off the bat I would of discussed things with him and gotten to the bottom of it. This may be a pattern in your fiance that he might do this sort of thing in the future, which isnt either of you need. Weddings are expensive and I completely see where you are coming from with the money. With you being the mom and reacting by kicking him out calling off the wedding so quick your son is going to feel its his fault. Kids learn by their parents. You dont want someone involved in his life that will talk to him in such language but he's also been his dad or role model for the last 2 years. Chill out, go in seperate corners and don't discuss your problems in your relationship with your children. They are too young to understand and will take the blame as long as you put them in that situation like you did. Remind your son he did nothing wrong, that you and whatever your fiance's name is will work stuff out and everything will be ok. That you are very sorry he cussed at you and that you wont tolerate anyone talking to you like that again. Kiss him and be done with it. Then move on to work on your relationship.
Thats my only advice, as a child of divorce times 2.

He should NEVER talk to you or your son like this. No matter what the problem is. But especially because he did it over a drink. This may be signs to come. If he gets away with this he might think he'll get away with yelling at you like this. Talk to you son and see how he feels and talk to your finace and ask if he has some sort of explanation. And tell your fiance that he may never ever talk to you or your son like what he did that morning. I'm sorry this happened. Hold your son and tell him it's not his fault.
God Bless

He sounds abusive, its good you got out now because it might have gotten worse after the wedding. you got a small glimpse of how he really is.
