you're absolutely right....a scientist might take great steps for you to understand his or her theory, but they will never lie, how can they, for it's all based on assumption and evidence! If there's no evidence, there's no theory, it's that simple, so they'd soon be found out if they were lying, for peers are sure to test their theories and this is indeed what happens...and that is what the scientific method all boils down to,... testing! If there's nothing to test, why bother stating it in the first place?, only a lunatic scientist would do that lol meaning, if it's all based on lies, which no right-minded scientist would do, then their reputations would be heavily at stake
scientist rebuke other scientists, it happens all of the time, it doesnt necessarily mean the scientists were lying, merely that, they had the wrong, or right (depending on the year and evidence) ideas

You made a funny!!!! So scientist never lie, GET REAL. The theory of evolution is all based on lies.
Consider this: You want to do a study. You have information already. Someone has a theory. So you do your study looking for a certain answer. And no matter what you won't stop until you get that answer. And there ya have it, the theory of evolution and how it came about. And, Oh yeah, the most important part, you have a gigantic ego. And unless you "discover" something no will ever know who you are. So, you "discover" something. But you have brains enough to call it a suggestion or conclusion, which it is, so that when it is later disproved your butt is covered.

"Ever notice that a liar is trying to get you to 'believe' in a lie, but a scientist will never try to...?"
Really? Science spends $Billions and Billions every year trying to persuade people to their theories/opinions. It's a multi-trillion dollar a year business. Everyone has a part, scientists are no different and yes, they have everything in common with liars and the different religious views. If you think it isn't all about the money then you are seriously delusional.

Scientists have many times presented a theory as if it were fact. I've seen several papers recently where scientist have ignored data to make people believe their theory is correct only to have other scientist expose them. Some have been very major and in the public eye.

True, but it should be pointed out that the people who are trying to push science on people are not actually scientists - true scientists know that there is always more the learn and so never come to any definitive conclusions.

Very accute observation, and one that I'm afraid is lost on the religiously faithful of this board, who would rather ignore the world around them than admit all scientists are not rogue hoaxers like Charles Dawson (who created the Piltdown Man).
What they frequently forget is that in all these cases of anthropological forgeries, it was SCIENTISTS who re-examined the fossils and determined their falseness. Scientific 'civilians', that is to say, 'regular' folk like the church goers of this board, would have never known of these historical hoaxes if it were not for the brave scientists willing to put their reputations on the line to call someone out on their false evidence.

lol...that is a truth these types don't understand. Scientists are their for truth not propaganda...unlike religous establishments. Don't worry about Monica Lewinsky over there she is just a troll...all caps was out of fashion back in 1950.
ohh Piltdown man...dml has been watching history channel. Nice!

The evidence disproves your assertion. Some of the early proponents of evolution were blatant liars and deceivers and used falsified evidence to attempt to prove and substantiate the theory of evolution. The early zoologist Ernst Haeckel in his zeal to convert others to Darwin's theory falsified drawings of the embryos of various species trying to prove that "ontology recapitulates phylogeny"; that is, that the progressive stages of development in the womb brings humans through stages of development that demonstrates their earlier life forms through which man developed by evolution. These were proven false over 100 years ago and Haeckel was rebuked by his colleagues, yet the same drawings are shown in text books today and are set forth as scientific fact. This is just one example of the deception employed in promoting this unscientific theory that today is accepted by most as undisputed fact.

You haven't had any experience with real scientists, have you? The cases of "scientists" who have falsified data, who have misrepresented their studies, who have created conclusions not based on evidence - are legion.
And people who are religious - who have real faith (I eliminate the crooks and shysters) are interested in sharing their faith precisely because they do believe. They are not liars. That they may not believe what you believe does not invalidate their belief.
So, no, I have never noticed what you "notice," since I work really hard NOT to be judgmental to that degree.
