When I was a kid transformers were the big thing.

They came out with underwear with transformers printed on them. In the commercial a kid is wearing the underwear and he turns into a transformer and flies away.

Well my Mom bought me some brand new transformers underwear. I was scared to death to put them on though. I thought I would turn into a transformer and fly away like in the commercial.

She could not get me to wear the things. I was scared to death of them. Wouldn't happen.

She finally made me put them on and of course I didn't turn into a tranformer. All was well then.

Yes, about me.

Little ol' me, three years old. I was sitting on the couch, watching TV and then I heard something:

running water.

I knew I was about to take a bath. I ran in to the bathroom and took off my clothes. Then, When I was done, I had to pull the plug.

Proof that TV DOES rot your brain:

I had seen a show about someone who was afraid of being sucked down the drain. I kicked and yelled, screamed and thrashed.

Finally, the drain was taken out, as was I.

I then, later on, wanted to see if I would go down. I cautiously stepped on the drain and screamed. A little bit of water was below me, and I fell. Ouch! Big bump, big bruise, Other than that, fine.

When my daughter was about 16 mo old....she was terrified of duct tape, especially when you peeled it from the roll. She was nearly 2 1/2 before she realized that it was harmless (but I do not want to get into what she thought of tadpoles!)

When my oldest son was little he was terrified of flushing the potty. He hated the noise it made and when he did flush the potty he stood as far away as possible and then ran as fast as he could to get away

My neighbors 2 y/o is afraid of the doorbell.

When my first son was little, he was afraid of pine cones. I would place pine cones everywhere I didn't want him to go or touch, like a shelf, the kitchen counter, the stove etc. That's how I kept him from breaking stuff or getting hurt.

I knew of a little kid who was afraid to look in the mirror. I guess he was shocked to see himself in two places. Anyway it was pretty funny, he grew out of it though.

My 7 y.o. son got in the bathtub the other day and started freaking out that stuff was floating around the water (like dirt or whatever). He said to me, "Don't you ever clean this thing out?!"
I said, "Yes, son, the bathtub is clean. All of that stuff came off of you because you are filthy."

The dishwasher and the washing machine.

Everytime we would open the door he would scream, everytime it was on and running he would freak out crying and sit on the couch. He never walks past them and if we were holding him near the items he would flip out completely.

Not sure where it came from, he just dosnt like them.
