1) Because you HATE his carpet, and you want to make sure he replaces it soon.
2) You have a lot of free time, and want it totally occupied.
3) You feel that not enough dogs die at the SPCA, so you want to do your bit to help.
Why would you want a puppy instead of a dog?

Because you want to have someone to take care of and love very very much. But if you can't take the time to feed, walk, wash, train, spend time with every day then it is not a good time to get a puppy. Puppies require alot of time and some money because they need shots and to be spayed or neutered. Sometimes they get sick and that takes money and time. The biggest problem with puppies is when people get them then dont spend time to train them or walk them and just get mad because they chew up something they shouldnt have and then the puppy gets neglected and its sad sad sad. So, do you really want all the time and effort that comes with a good puppy? Then someone to love and care for is a good reason to me. :)

ok, i think some people answering this question think you HAVE 5 puppies. I think she means her dad HAD 5 puppies, anyways...i really want a puppy too, but do you:
-have the time to take care of the puppy?
-will you walk it, when it RAINS, SNOWS, HOT, COLD, ETC
good luck trying

first off consider this. will you have time to care for this puppy?? it might be cute now. but when the excitement wears off, what are you going to do??? trust me, you WILL get bored of it. remember it's a lifetime commitment, not a 2 year deal then give it away. please don't get a puppy just because you want one. consider everything. it is not your parent's responsibility, it's yours. consider yourself warned. plus, you have 5 puppies! why on earth do you need more??? do you even look twice at those puppies?

because they are so much fun to have you can play with all the time they keep you comfortable and they are somone you can talk to even though it is annoying the potty training if it is pads, outside,or newspaper that is not fun but all the rest is F.U.N

If you have to ask, then a puppy probably isn't for you. Try a goldfish, they're a lot less work.

it is much easier for a pup to grow up the way you want it like a kid. i got my dog when she was a pup it was easy to socialize and train her to my liking. i say go for it. its an experience to see them grow.
