Back row players can attack the ball in the front row as long as they take an approach and jump before the 10 foot line. If you make an approach and jump to meet the ball after you have passed the 10 foot line, it will be a back row attack, which is illegal. If you take off and jump before the 10 foot line, you can land past the 10 foot line without getting cause you have jumped before the line. * there is only one other restriction, your hand is not supposed to break the plan of the net... so basically don't jump like you're blocking, jump just enough to get your hand on top of the ball and get the ball on the other side of the net.
Hope this helps

You can attack the ball if you takeoff from behing the 10' line. A back row attack is called if a player hits a ball that is completely above the plane of the net(top of the net) when they jump from in front of the 10' line, just jumping while in front of the 10' line doesn't automatically make it a backrow attack. Most people think it is if you jump and hit the ball, but even if a small portion of the ball is below the height of the net you can attack it. Hope this helps!

They can attack the ball in the front row as long as they take an approach and jump before the 10 foot line. If you make an approach, jump and meet the ball after you have passed the 10 foot line, it will be a back row attack, which is illegal. You can still jump, You don't have to stay on your feet. Have fun with these, They are SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! LOL. I do them every now and then when we are short on backrow players.

Back row players can attack the ball as long as they do not come in front of the ten foot line. They cannot come in front of it or it is called a Back row foul.

A back row player is allowed to spike the volleyball as long as they are in the air before they cross the attack line. In other words you cannnot spike a volleyball from infront of the attack line if you are in the back row.

Hope this answers your question
