I only heard the song one time and don't remember hardly any of the lyrics, I think it was like I can't believe you left without saying goodbye, her friends tell her she's probably better off but she'll always love him even when tomorrow comes and that's all I really remember I know that's not much help, but this song really hit home if you have any ideas please help. I think the song you are looking for is a LeAnn Rimes song called....probably wouldn't be this way....but this song is about her man dying but by the way you described it..;it might be the right song!
