I read all the answers and it is sad to see how people see this man who saved all of our lives. He is Gods son who came down to earth to sacrifice his life to make justice with Adam sinning in the garden of Eden. Along the way he also taught us how we should really live.

Before he came there were like 200 or more commandments that man had to live by and believe me every one of them were enforced. When Jesus began his preaching he showed what God really wanted out of man and how his followers should act, talk, and live, and teach.

You know if we were to live our lives according to the bible there would be no wars, and violence. We would be at peace, no one would be starving, and there would be no such thing as poverty. The flip side to Jesus was he showed man kind what awaited us when we died.

You can laugh and talk bad about him as much as you want, but remember we will all be standing in front of him one day. And that's the day he will get the last laugh.

I appreciate everything he went through to make sure that we will have everlasting life.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World and the Son of the Only True God. God said in His Word in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."

Jesus Christ's mission was to come into the world and triumph over the evil one called Satan who in the Garden of Eden took eternal life away from us. When Jesus came He died on the cross for us so He could win back eternal life for us. All we have to do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and we will be saved and eternal life is His free gift to us.

Jesus Christ is God who became man for a short season and died for all on the cross. He not only felt the physical pain of the torture, but God the Father loaded on Him the sin of all humanity. Yet, Jesus still prayed in the last moments for His enemies in love for them. He died and rose again and He will come back for His children. He came to bring light into the darkness and to be an example of perfect love for us.

Jesus was God's presence in human form, and he came to be the ultimate sacrifice which paid the penalty for our sin. In this way, God himself took the fall and restored our relationship to him, because that is what he created us for, to love him and each other. Jesus' message was clear, that we are to love God, and to love and care for each other, and this is what our world is missing most. Say what you want about God, but read the Gospels and tell me what the world would be like if everyone followed Jesus' Teachings.

Identity: Christ (same as Messiah), BOTH human and divine, God's annointed. He did what was impossible for man to do for himself. He made a way for us to be restored to relationship with God.
- Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

Mission: save sinners

1Timothy 1:15 Here is a saying that you can trust. It should be accepted completely. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. And I am the worst sinner of all.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God made Man. He is God. He is the Word of God made Flesh. The bible says, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." Jesus came down to earth from heaven to save men from the fires of hell. He came to redeem mankind. He came to atone for our sins. He is the Messiah. He is the Christ. He is the annointed One of God. He was born to suffer and die for us. He is the Incarnate Son of God. He was perfect God and Perfect Man. He opened the gates of heaven for us.

All christians believe that Jesus is the son of God who came to earth to save the world from evil . If you believe that He died for you and shed his body and blood so you can have ever lasting life forever .then you should pray (ask) Him to forgive your sins (bad deeds in your life ) and pray that you believe that Jesus did in fact die and in fact rose again (came to life)so that you would be saved .and then you if you strongly believe will then be saved from that moment .then as a christian (believer in Jesus ) you must live as Jesus did .read you bible . And continue to witness (tell others ) for Jesus the good truth .

He was a man who lived a few thousand years ago.

I don't think he had a mission as such to begin with, but decided to get people to follow him for whatever reason. He doesn't have a mission these days, but the little following he started has certainly got a bit bigger.
