Dog Pacemaker Cost

I wonder why you are asking but I assume you want the pacemaker to help your dog's heart condition. There are certain conditions where a pacemaker may help. Unfortunately, I do not know the price for the pacemaker alone but you have to consider that it's price will likely be only a fraction of all costs involved. Your dog's case needs to be worked up by a veterinary cardiologist - pacemakers are stuff a normal vet does not usually have experience with. Cardiac work-up involves blood samples, ECGs, Ultrasound, etc. Furthermore, the pacemaker has to be surgically inserted and then maintained. Likely there is long-term medication involved, which is not exactly cheap. Also, your dog will need regular re-checks with blood tests and ECGs. This all adds up and may make the cost for a pacemaker look like peanuts. Talk to your veterinarian about this and get a list of the exact costs before you make a decision.
