Corn and peas...I think peas go really well with it. Corn is good too, but I'd just recommend one of the sweeter vegetables, like corn or carrots. Another starch like potatoes, rice, pasta, or bread would be too heavy with a meaty, starchy dish like shepard's pie.

There are many Shepard Pie recipes but most I know have veggies in them. I would just add a fresh salad.

I wouldn't go further than a side salad because if you are making sheppards pie right then it has everything on the food pyramid in it.

Shepards Pie is one of those meals-in-one. I don't think I'd serve anything except a nice Pinot Noir with it!

I think a nice tossed salad would be fine. Maybe you could add corn bread or biscuits!

you can add vegetables like peas,carrots,celery,mushrooms in your pie(the dry veges) so how about a salad
