When this happens, it's usually a form of acne called folliculitis. In mild cases, rubbing alcohol works. In more severe cases, a prescription of topical clindamyacin is helpful. Oral minocin is also frequently prescribed. You can literally get acne anywhere, so why not the butt!!! Easily treated though. See a dermatologist or your family doc to discuss treatment options that best suit you. Try the rubbing alcohol on a tissue twice a day first if you don't have insurance.
