Put warm fuzzies in her birthing basket and put it by you so you can reach in and pet her every so often. My cats always wanted petting and encouragement. I tried to outsmart Veronica once and put her birthing basket in my closet so as to keep dog noses out of the kittens but she raised such a ruckus that I had to bring her basket to my side, where she was purrrrfectly happy. She knew I would swat any dog noses that got too close. After the babies were born she had no objection to being in my room in the basket. sigh.. She did love to lounge on the funnies from the sunday paper though.. I think its written in the cat book of behaviour, that if you want to sleep.. NEVER sleep alone if there is anybody/animal to cuddle up with. I love when the kittens get big enough to purr... then they make a little buzz basket of love.. You can't. She is pregnant, she is hormonal and she needs your attention. She wants you to know she is more important than that big box with the light that you always stare at. Also if she can keep you from being able to type you will lose interest in it. She's too smart for you to get her to quit. If it's for work, shut her in with her litterbox (in your bathroom or whatever room it's in. If you can just shut her out of your computer room while you work. If it's not work, get off the computer and comfort the poor dear.

You can't...don't even try. Once my cat found out about my keyboard I had to wait for him to get tired of laying on it.

she wants your attention. I'd talk to her and give her some love and attention then put her on the floor and tell her to go lay down. that way you both get what you want. you get your keyboard and she gets some love.

she's probably so fat that she wants some love and attention. rubbing her sore back might help. she probably wants the damn kids out already! sitting on your keyboard makes you pay attention to her. give her some love and put a pillow nearby so she can be next to you.

put her in your lap. she just wants attention or she may be telling you that she's getting ready to go into labour so she wants you to pay attention so you can help her.

my cats too...but i got a bottle that sprays water just once bootslee was on my tower and i sprayed her and now she knows
