I will never understand my own human race. Why wont people look at God as father figure instead just a God. Why? Is God really all that bad to people. I surely do not want to support my human nature because it oftens gets me into trouble. We are in way over our heads of trouble. Wars will never stop, peace is just a dream that will never come to pass. This world will always be in conflict with itself and I do not understand how it is still standing. That is like your right arm attacking your left or your foot attacking your face. How can this world still stand. One day humans will stop existing and God will get tired of our ignorance, our own way of living and not his. People just would rather rebel than live a better life. Yes no matter what a christian says. People who do not believe will support their own choices, their own nature, because their human minds can not understand God's ways. Suffering in hell for all eternity is not what I want. Living forever would be great.

It is the human nature to be defiant. It takes a humble person to be saved. Those who chose God will do their best to live by His commands, but they will never fully succeed because they are not perfect. That's why Jesus died for us, because He is perfection. Our job is to get saved and than do our best not to sin. If we do, we repent of it right then and there.

I think you are 100% dead on accurate that the world is evil and does not know God. Yes he is going to detroy the world because it is evil and doesnt know him.

I think you are 110% wrong that God cannot be known through the Scriptures in Jesus Christ having been revealed from God.

I think the people living selfish lives WILL do whatever they want. However, the people willing to serve and follow God are repentent and DO try to live his way. I encourage you to read the Scriptures and see how it is possible to live and please God. Your living good however isnt what is going to get you saved. You are looking for answers, you hate the things of the world and feel as you don't fit in. Jesus told people like us endure until the end don't give up.

I found peace in answering bible questions, maybe you should do the same. I know sometimes it seems like no one cares, but every once in awhile you find someone who does care.

I wonder if you've considered this, Mr Geek.... that for over 2000 years of trying, your all-powerful god has failed.

But, for this, I won't be laying the blame on "God" since it's clear that "God" could never have straightened things out no matter how many people accept him as a "father figure" - a thing which isn't has no ability to effect that which is.

Part of the world trouble you complain of is in the fact that people DO rely on and worship "God" when this very action is both preposterous and ridiculous.

Pretty much. That's why people like their theology complicated, it provides more excuses for them. There are a few people who genuinely try to challenge themselves and others to make the world better. But the vast majority find many convenient ways to twist and fold religion to suit their wishes.

God has never said or done anything. Ancient man said and ancient man did. I will never understand how one can be so afraid of an intangible idea as 'god'(whether called Jahweh, Allah, Shiva or whatever) as to remove all logic from their thought processes.

People who do not believe in god do not live inhuman immoral lives and people who purport to be the voice of god (priests & evangelicals) commit the vilest of sins as commonplace. Hmmm...kinda makes you think...one would hope!
