Wear in Hong Kong whatever you would wear in Times Square in New York.
Hong Kong is highly fashionable - it is as fashionable as any major US city. Wear any thing that's fashionable.
In Macau, you might want to tone it down a little. I would say you could go for a low-key, casual and comfy look. Macau has a higher crime rate than Hong Kong, so don't look too much like a target.
Zhuhai is more of a business area than Macau. I would say you coulddress like you woul dress just for a day at the amusement park or a day at the mall. Nothing speccial.

you are in deep trouble if you think you will not stick out. westerners are stared at on a regular basis. young chinese wear whatever they can get that makes them look like americans. middle age chinese wear dress shirts and casual trousers. old chinese wear a little more traditional clothing but not overly traditional. jeans and t-shirts or collared shirts are what i wore in beijing, shanghai, guangzhou and hong kong. from this time until november the weather goes from warm to hot. mosquito repellent might not be a bad idea. i just came back from guangzhou and hong kong and i have more than my share of mosquito bites which are quite uncomfortable. i got most bites at night with my feet sticking out from under the sheets. and i wasn't in a bad part of town, just that the mosquitos are there. good luck and have fun, really!!!!!!!!!

Hong Kong is a very fashionable place. Wear whatever you would wear in a warm weather major European city and you'll be fine. Macau is mostly frequented by people from Hong Kong and rich Mainlanders anyway, so it doesn't really merit a seperate dress code. Zhuhai is also heavily influenced by Hong Kong, so expect more of the same.

It has been a while since I traveled to China (1999) and at that time, anyone who wasn't Asian "stuck out." The outfit didn't matter much. The weather was practically identical to the United States (colder in the north, warmer in the south). Have a wonderful trip!!!

now is early spring in china so use your good imagination and express your self, sometime here windy in the evening and nice during the day.
p.s
when you go to the park or something like that don't forget to bring your anti mosquito lotion and bring your umbrella or raining jacket.
