Me and my boyfriend where watching a movie and we where like laying on each other and he said "Would you marry me?"
and I said huh?
and he said "not will you but would you marry me?"
and I said probablly
then a few minutes later he said "probably?"
and we just continued to kiss and watch the movie so whats it mean? why did he ask that?

more than likely---he wanted to get laid
Possibly---he has strong feelings for you, and that was his way of seeing if you shared them

It means he had a momentary lapse of testosterone and his feelings were actually able to show for a minute. Never fear I'm sure it didn't last long- he's probably back to normal by now. If it keeps up you may want to get him to a shrink for some meds.

He probably wanted to know how you feel about him. And if its still puzzling you, then ask him. Just say, "The other night when we were watching a movie, why did u ask me if i wanted to marry you?" and if he just brushes it off, then forget about it. it was a simple question to see how you felt about him.

I think that your boyfriend is wondering how much you really care about him ... he may of been trying to see if you really liked him, for ex: Lets say you ask your boyfriend if he could chose from the most popular girl in school (not saying that your not) or you, and you ask him if he'd think about choosing her, or if it'd cross his mind ... and he says i don't know. it's not the best example but maybe it makes sense to you. It would show you how much he really cares about you ... well I think that's what he was doing. Hope this helps!

He asked you to marry him. Tell him yes or no. Next time you see him ask him when does he want to get married. See what he says then.

Awww! That is really sweet. He probably just wanted to know if you would say yes if it ever occurs to him to ask you to marry him.
It sounds complicated, but it is not, really.

haha, he is obviously lookin fer some kind of thing to hold on to, i mean yer not jus gonna stay in a relationship if they think its goin nowhere, he wanted somekind of commitment, and when you said probably it was kindaa unsetling cause he wanted: yeah later on, so thats all he was just lookin fer commitment, lemme guess, he's older??
