- Cause God loves us, & our sin is not more powerful than the foregiving blood of Jesus Christ. If we are cool, then God is COOLER, pretty cool, no ?

He created us to have fellowship with HIM. Pain and death are a result of the fall of man. This is the explaination if you are really looking for a truthful one. If you are just looking to put GOD down, as so many do on here, then just pick any answer you want out of some crazy hat.

God can see all our futures if He seeks to, but he let us grow through free will by letting us overcome temptations which He allowed Satan to temp us with.
The challenge God created for himself is to come up with a Salvation plan to save the righteous only (and by using faith which leads to righteousness through obedience as the measuring rod).

The conditioned souls in this material world were originally in a direct relationship of devotional service to God, Krishna, in the spiritual planet in the spiritual world(The so called heaven). By misuse of independence, manifesting as a desire to imitate Krishna or take His position as supreme enjoyer, the soul gave up its natural state and was placed in the material world by taking birth in material bodies.
The fall of the soul under the twofold bodily covering (one is the five gross elements and the other is the three subtle elements)is due to him shifting his attachment from the superior object of love—Lord Krishna—to something inferior(the material energy). In short, the fall of the living entity, is decided by the soul's own choice.
The soul is by nature always in love to God, Krishna. Therefore when the conditioned soul falls down from his natural proper position (as eternal servant of Krishna, God)he develops love and attachment for some other, inferior, object(this material world, and everything related ot it). For this reason there is hardly any possibility of self-satisfaction, and therefore material sense gratification becomes prominent.
God knows the pain that we are going to have by coming here, and He warned us, but we insisted in coming to this material world. He does not force us to stay with Him, He let us use our independent, otherwise we will be automatas. The soul is indestructible, he never dies. By proper use of free will one can take up the process of Krishna consciousness and regain one’s original position and be relieved from pain and suffering.

He wanted a being that was capable of choosing evil and good to choose him and glorify him.
Why not? We create children knowing full well theyre going to grow up to fight dont we? (and sometimes succeed in killing themselves) Yet we as prents know the higher ideals of loving your brother as yourself and try to teach it to them.
Therefore judging God for creating us would be like going up to the parents at a funeral where a child had died and scolding them for giving birth to them. I believe God made us good enough that if we certainly had the ability to be obedient to him, but we didnt. We chose sin, the curses, and death.

He can see, however you must remember that we all have free will. Free will that is to make our own decisions in what w want to do in life. We either have to choice to do the right thing in Gods sight and be rewarded in the end for our good deeds, and we also have the choice to do bad in gods sight and provoke him to anger and be rewarded for our bad deeds, the pick is yours. In other words if you kill someone with a knife you shall also be killed with a knife or even with a weapon twice as bad as a knife. But if you kill people with kindness, your reward shall be great because God is kind and Love is kind and he wants us all to love.

I will give you a muslim answer on this. Question.
and Allah = THE GOD.
*{To Allah belong all things in heaven and earth: verily Allah is He (that is) free of all wants, worthy of all praise.}* (Quran chapter 31:26)
Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him), recited a hadith qudsi from Allah Most High (I quote only the relevant part of the long narration):
“… O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefiting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more than a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him who finds good, praise Allah and let him who finds other than that, blame no one but himself.” (Muslim, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
It is clear from the above that the majesty or power of Allah Almighty is not disturbed in any way by our actions on earth. The question then is this: Why did He put us on earth and decide to test us?
Allah Himself answers this question in His Qur’an:
*{He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days—and His Throne was over the waters—that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct...}* (Quran chapter 11:7)
And again,
*{He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving}* (Quran chapter 67:2)
From the above verses, we can understand that the purpose of the test to which Allah Almighty puts us is to find out which of us is best in deed. It has also been made clear that Allah wishes to reward those who are good in motives and actions, and punish those who follow the evil one.
So the picture is clear: It is not for fun that Allah created the universe and everything in it. It was for a purpose. And also Allah does not benefit from our good deeds; it is we ourselves who benefit. And likewise, Allah is not harmed in any way by our wicked ways; it is we ourselves who face the consequences of our actions.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
*{Who receives guidance, receives it for his own benefit: who goes astray does so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an apostle (to give warning).}* (Quran chapter 17: 15)
And Allah knows best.
