My son wants to go to Mt. High or Big Bear in California. He doesn't have a car. Are there any bus trips that take people on round trips for skiing or snowboarding?

you don't say where you live -but if you can get
to San Bernardino
there is a transit service called MARTA
which offer transit service to/from San Bernardino to
Lake Arrowhead/crestline and also a commuter route to Big Bear

if you are coming say from Los Angeles
you can take the metrolink from Los Angeles to the San Bernardo Metrolink station
and Marta buses stop there
