If ghosts are real then how come?

Well if ghosts are real how come they are on Earth does this mean Heaven doesn't exist? And why do they haunt people who did nothing wrong to them?

what if the dead dont know they are dead, and likewise they cannot see us but rather it is a paranormal happening that a ghost crosses over into our realm that we can see them, perhaps we do the same to them and frighten them just the same?

i mean we have absolutely no idea what a ghost is. will people really see signs of a ghost in a "haunted house" if they have never heard anyone say its haunted? perhaps this is more psychological then not?

i remember as a kid we pretended there were leprachauns in bushes, and we could make ourselves see the bushes move and all this kinda weird stuff. but it was all in our heads.

Heaven and Earth are separate planes of existence.... Sometimes souls get trapped possibly, and continue to roam the earth, due to strong emotional bonds, like a man who died and still roams his beautiful house after death.... And some ghosts might hold grudges or feel that people are intruding.

If angels roam the earth, then why not souls?

But on the flip side, would a benevolent God allow His people to wander in limbo and suffering?
A friend once told me something... that ghosts are merely demons pretending to be spirits of dead people...
Or maybe even that the images of the past have been etched into space and time, playing back as a residual haunting?

Some spirits may be as afraid of us as we are of them.

If I had the power, I would tell all the lost spirits to go with God, because that is their home.

I'm not a Bible nut, but here is something comforting:

Psalm 23:4
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Maybe the lost souls haven't found their way out of the valley yet because they don't trust in God.

Who knows, but keep an open mind!

there are a few types of " ghost "
there is a residual energy ghost , which is just a memory playing over and over , like an imprint or recording .. this isn't conscious and is most common with reported sightings

then you have spirit , they are conscious , they may visit with us , they are rarely seen and will not usually interact with us ... they have a home and do not remain here

then you have something completely different and that is poltergeist energy
this is human energy that can move things , make noise etc ... this is your classic haunting type ... but it is neither ghosts nor spirit
it is usually adolescent girls releasing energy in a subconscious way and can manifest to appear like an entity

Also, there is what some would call live ghost, which is not a ghost but looks like one, some live person that is asleep, and his soul can travel if they learn to have out of body experiences.

well I believe that ghosts are people who are trapped on earth by an emotional attachment to where they lived, or died. Their emotions are so strongly attached to their former lives that they can't get to heaven or hell. And I don't think they are haunting people but rather places unfornuatley the living get caught in their world or visa versa.

Maybe the ghosts on earth are the ones that are not good enough for heaven, you know, pergatory. They are restless spirits, that have not found eternal peace yet.
