I have been thinking about how much money women spend on hand bags for a while. If women donated the money and bought even a slightly cheaper purse, I feel a lot of money could go to good places. The other day I though about starting a group of women who choose one hand bag a month and raise the amount of money that the hand bag costs and then donate it to charity. For example, a gucci purse that costs, say, 700 dollars (we would have to start out smaller i think) is the object of the fund raising for the month. all the fund raisers would have a picture of the purse and information on the chosen charity and would try to raise money or donate their own. At the end of the month, we would calculate how much we made, and donate the amount of the purse (here, 700) plus whatever else we raised to the chosen charity. this would raise awareness about consumerism and women's causes. anyone interested?

Hmmm, how about this as a variation: find a group of people who want to pool the money they give to charity, and each month you get together, listen to presentations on two or three charities, pick one and give all the money to that charity. So, if there are twenty of you, and you put in $50 each, you could give $1,000 to one charity at once. You'd get a lot of attention, you'd meet a lot of people, and you could feel good by pooling your money.

Put fire behind this... But ensure neutrality in your pursuit. To that end, go to someone who is most familiar in the realm of business, say, a venture capitalist. A stretch? Yes... But so what. Be practical, yes, 'and' carry the electric...

But work into this gradually. Get some backdrop first, such as attending a Learning Annex class or group setting or something where people work with similar ventures.

Only the bold and adventuresome can have the great Horizons and big Suns !

See, you will want to use the Law of Reverse Effort. Let me explain.

Don't go into it head on but rather, approach it in an oblique manner.

'You know what I mean? -- on looking into a night sky, if you look directly at a very distant star's location that you know is there but presently can't find, you don't stare directly at it but look slightly askew of it, and boom -- there it is twinkling before you...

Hence, this is a rough picture for you of what I mean by the Law of Reverse Effort...see? Chase a dog and he runs; run from a dog and he chases... 'Reverse Effort...

Thus, by going the impassive route, the sought-for objective is at once upon you... See?

Once you have amassed enough backdrop, then try staging an "informational interview" with a proven business person.

Your goal is too important to waste your native force on lofty ideals. Whether you wish to earn harmony or power (which is what you should not wish to attain), people have to see themselves in it and doing it and feeling good about it.

Something has to import to their sense of worth. In short, this says -- "What's in it for me?"

Yours is a fine idea. Move on it. Don't think as much as envision...

Interesting concept. Unfortunately most people see the need to help themselves before helping others.
