Why do people put so much faith in Scientists?
When you can find a scientists to prove your point and another scientist to prove the opposing point. Does not make sense to me!
I ask this question because a lot of atheist are baseing there, there is no God theory with scientific proof....and yes it is faith no matter how you look at it. we put our faith in something, Christians choose to put their faith in God. We trust the Bible which has been around for thousands of years without changing, which scientist are changing theory's all the time.

God is not a created being or imaginary...and one day, I promise, there will be no more atheist. Because one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Many people are looking for another answer besides God.
They do not want to be responsible and are looking for an excuse.

Um actually the New Testament completely changed the Bible. When was the last time you stoned someone for sleeping with a virgin?
I agree that Scientists can be wrong and many Hypothesis are proven wrong everyday. BUT SCIENCE establishes laws that have been proven consistent. If you take the bible as pure truth then you must assume that Joshua asked God to stop the sun from revolving around the earth so he could finish murdering his neighbors. We now know, thanks to pesky science, that the earth actually revolves around the sun, and is moving at a tremendous pace. It is also spinning, which poor Mathew, Mark, Luke and John didn't know. If God had stopped the sun for an hour, the earth would have stopped spinning and gravity would have changed. It just didn't happen.
But you keep putting your faith in uneducated fishermen that live 2000 years ago, if it makes you feel good then that is ok. But remember the next time you use a microwave, that Science can be very beneficial. The original scientist that worked with microwaves may not have had his theory refined, but in combination with other scientists and testing processes, it was turned in to an oven that can heat your water in 1 minute.
Christians all benefit from science, they just choose to ignore it when it is inconvenient to their belief system. Read about Galileo and you will discover what happens when a 6000 year old religion doesn't agree with Science.

The reason people put faith in science is that it gives correct answers. Any time there is a dispute among scientists, everyone involved makes an effort to dig out the facts; eventually, this happens and we know a little bit more about how the world works. It is not possible to prove, by science or otherwise, either that some god exists, or that a god does not exist. It follows from this that no theory of god can make any predictions, or have any other use, in the real world. The fact that religion does not change is its greatest weakness: as errors are discovered, there is no means to correct them, and the number of errors now known in the bible is well into the hundreds. But science is self-correcting, as it must be.

The argument is they change their ideas because they are learning through them. That's why a study begins with a theory. Scientists are usually the first to admit that they don't have all the answers. Their lives are about looking for them. Can you be a Christian and think this way. I think you should. The Bible has the answer regarding your soul, but it's not a science book and has never claimed to be.
Those that believe in scientists' work have faith too. It's just in science, not God. They must be able to know using their senses to believe.

I Just answered your question and I understood it perfectly. In a court of law you have two apposing sides. It is for a jury to weigh the evidence and decide which side is true. With science you are the jury. You decide which side is true. Sooner or later one side or the other will be proven true. With the bible there has never been any evidence of truth. You offer the fact it is old as evidence of truth. That is not evidence of truth. You say it has been around for thousands of years without change. That is a lie. It has had hundreds of translations and revisions.
You promise one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess. Do you know how pathetic that threat sounds to an Atheists?
You are about to cry little farmer go hitch up the mule and plow the back forty. He might talk with you.

This is classic delusion and the twisting of reality to suit one's own purpose.
ALL atheists, not 'a lot of', base their chosen lifestyle on the fact that not only is there no evidence at all of a supernatural, magic and invisible entity out there but that, in addition, the whole concept is so far-fetched that only an impressionable child would fall for this lie.
The bible HAS changed very many times and each time it changes, it gets more exaggerated, in line with the Chinese Whisper phenomenon.
Science changes as more information comes to light, as testing and experimentation updates the knowledge bank. The basic principles remain the same.
Quite bluntly, I would far rather place my trust in an educated person, proving theories to be accurate, than in a deluded freak who is convinced that an invisible, silent and apparently totally powerless 'thing' exists that controls our destiny in some magical way. What's more likely?
Atheism is the only logical lifestyle choice. God is imaginary. Reality beckons but there are none so blind as those who refuse to look. There are those who look but do not see.

I have no FAITH in scientists, I KNOW that what they say is fact. I am educated and intelligent enough to read their research and decide if their research is sound. Certain institutions have earned my trust and any research put out by them I tend to take at its word until I can read it. It is rare that you can find a scientist to "prove" an opposing point. You can find shady men that will claim research says something it didn't but that isn't proof. You need a lot more education. You obviously do not understand what faith means, and I would definitely base my entire life on a book written by men and translated by men, not based on evidence, but on a belief. There are more and more Christians who reconcile their faith with science, but I suppose there will always be hold-outs who choose to live a life of ignorance, bigotry, and self-righteous darkness. I put my "faith" in what I know, what I can prove, and what is real. If you had ever read a science book, a real one, you might have a prayer" of understanding anything but your cruel magical sky-pixie and his sadistic manipulations.

jointly as maximum folk answer as properly as achievable, there is often the possibility that the question grew to become into misread on the outset, and on occasion goofiness erupts. i've got spoke back numerous questions and after i ended, I appeared on the question back and located I had an fullyyt diverse take than what the poster meant. and that i alter my answer thoroughly formerly I post it. It happens, i'm specific, with numerous persons, and so which you may take that into attention once you get on solutions. that is in basic terms the character of the equipment and the extensive numbers of persons who're at here. There are some who're anti- each and every thing and it makes little distinction what you ask, the end result would be an analogous. My suggestion is to easily circulate on and don't stay on the detrimental stuff, 'reason you would be unable to get around it, that is gonna' be there and that is in user-friendly terms how issues are here in solutions.

Really? Never change huh? What bible might that be? Just curious where you got that information from. Because it has changed more times than Brittany's hair style has. Most Christians of any denomination don't even know what they are worshiping cause the scripture has changed in each translation, most publications and depending on which denomination oh who the ruler, pope, etc.
Research before you make a false statement.

People believe in science over God because they are stupid pessimists. "A little science will lead a man away from God, but a lot of science will bring him back." These people obviously arent smart enough to read a little more about science. No science can explain the everday miracles of life. I pray for all of you misinformed athiests. There are a lot of parts of the Bible that maybe don't make sense, or parts that can't be rightfully applied today (ie slavery) but God always makes sense.

Scientific theories evolve as we attain more knowledge. I would hope that would be the case. Otherwise we'd all still be thinking the earth is flat and the sun rotates around us...like the religious folk had been claiming for centuries. How horrible would it be if we all followed a two thousand year old book as our one source of truth and refused to grow as people, or seek out more knowledge? Ugh...we'd again be in those Dark Ages, when Church and religion ruled.
"God is not a created being or imaginary...."
You're living a life of lies. I can't even comprehend how you could seriously believe that nonsense.
