Sorry. I live in Wisconsin and I learned about evolution, as did all of my family.
I would have guessed some place in the south would be the farthest behind.
I wouldn't have pegged Wis as particularly religious either. Perhaps it's just poor (as in bad) school systems.
Also, there are a lot of Catholics in Wisconsin. At least it seems that way to me. And don't Catholics endorse evolution?

So you are bragging that you like that Wisconsin is providing the poorest science education.
Joy.
I wonder what the percentage of students who went to school in Wisconsin later go on to be doctors or biologists. Good thing that college has good biology courses. Get these kids up to speed in their science.
