It sounds like a simple mole, but it is best to seek out a dermotologist. The doctor will more than likely remove it (which is a simple in office procedure) and do a biopsy to determine if there is anything cancerous. Don't be alarmed, more than likely it is nothing. But to be sure, just find a dermotologist and have it looked at. Good luck.

Unusual/changing/bleeding moles should always ALWAYS be checked out by a doctor.

These can signify skin cancer, which although easily treated when detected early, can easily spread undetected, and become something far more serious.

It's better to be safe than sorry!

Good luck x

Always have these things checked just in case it has changed. Bleeding would be a change and this would be easy to remove.

No way is it safe to guess what this is on line, certainly not without at least a good quality photo. Make a routine appointment to see your GP, hopefully he will be able to quickly reassure you.

Yes you should.

"Keep an eye on your moles. Go and see the doctor if they begin to itch, increase in size or change colour."
