As a former waitress/bartender, I always give a minimum of 20%, extra if they were really great. Bartenders 1.50 - 2.00 a drink. People forget two things: These people earn their livelihood from TIPS not SALARY. Most are paid about 3 bucks an hour. Second, it's not fair to always assume poor service is due to the waiter....she is just the messenger. She could do everything right, but remember the chef, the runner and the busboy all have their part too! There are plenty of people who sits on their asses all day and make tons of money....Most waiters will agree, if you can't afford to leave a tip, you shouldn't bother going to a restaurant.....they are not working for free!

Cab ride....depends if they took the best route and were nice to you. At most 10%
Manicure...never had one
Massage...0%
Hairstylist......15%
Bartender, I usually go with 0%. I watched some girl make 200 dollars in an hour opening beers. What is she a lawyer? I'm not adding to that. And they say you wont get service if you don't tip. If its busy, they collect all the money off the bar in one swoop and put it in a jar. They have no idea who its from or who gave how much. No thanks.
In a slower place, maybe a buck per service.
I enjoy tipping people who DON'T expect it. My garbage man, gas station attendant, etc.
Blessings
David

I usually tip 15 percent, give or take 5 percent for poor or exceptional service.
In cases such as time involved- a 10 dollar haircut, for example- I will usually tip an even 5 dollars.
At a bar, I tip a dollar per drink if I'm not running a tab, 20 percent if I am.

A good tip would be 20-25% since its above the "norm" of 15%

well, as a formal delivery driver i can tell you 3 to 4 bucks. but only for good quick service. if the delivery is late or cold, 1 dollar is very fair.

20%, at least, this coming from a customer and professional, unless the service was horrible and it would have to be really bad. not just your food took too long!

15% if service was good; 20% if excellent. (10% for the pizza guy, since they usually charge a delivery fee anyway!)
