It comes in a green bottle with a giraffe-print label. My friends and I used to drink it in Japan, I was wondering if anyone has ever seen it in the US. If so, where did you find it? Idaho or Utah would be awesome... One of my friends is getting married and I'd like to find giraf for him. Arizona, California, Nevada, South Carolina would work too (I travel a lot).

It's not a Belgizn beer, but it comes from Denmark.

You must know that in Belgium, one calls a beer glass of 2.5 liter ( about 85 Oz's or 0.55 gallon!) a Girafe

I have a database of Belgian beers on my website:

http://www.belgourmet.be/fr/biere/

It's not absolutely complete, and every week I must add new beers, but I never heard about "Giraf".
Sorry!

Giraf is Danish, not Belgian. It is a Carlsberg product. Check with the Carlsberg distributor wherever you hope to find it as to where it might be sold in the area.

Don't think it's sold in the US. The website for the beer is listed below. It's Danish and produced by Albani Breweries, which is now owned by a major brewer--Royal Unibrew.

Sorry. You'll just have to drink away your sorrows.
