Need some opinions on what to get a Dad for his birthday. Awsome Dad-likes cooking, golfing, the beach, the mets and the giants. Any idea might help. He is going to be 53.

How about a round at his favorite golf course? Or baseball tickets? (Or a promise to take him to a game). I'll bet Dad would like to spend his best birthday with his family, so plan an outing where you can all be together.

get him tickets for the giants or the mets games
buy him a flag or a shirt to go with it
take him to a beach and just hang out with him
go golfing with him or give him money to buy some golfing items
give him money to buy cooking supplies or take him to his favorite restaurant

Go to a game and pay for everything. Buy him cook books or cooking tools he don't have.
