I would say congratulations. Save yourself until you are married. It will be so much more fulfilling and on top of that, you'll know that you're in love and that the guy won't leave you. I'm almost 18 and a virgin too. So keep it up, and look to God when it gets tough! Hope this helps :)

I'm proud of you.
You're so lucky not to have fallen into the trap of having sex before you are ready. You've gained some maturity and insight into what happens when you have sex too young. Unplanned pregnacies. STD's.
How many girls you know had babies young? And how much harder are their lives? STD's? People don't want to talk about them, don't want to admit they've had them or got them... But they are out there.
And 99.9% of early adulthood relationships don't last because young people haven't figured out what it is they are looking for nor how to keep a good relationship.
So I'd say you are better off than most. And as far as being a virgin, don't let it bother you. The only people who think it is a stigma are the ones who lost it for no good reason...
Take your time. Date nice guys. Wait. Don't give it away to some jerk who won't respect it. Maybe you have the chance to lose your virginity and keep a precious memory.

well..that is good. you are waiting for the right person. I personally know two young women who are virgins. one is 20 and one is 22. i would not want to be the guy who took that from them though, since virgins can be very hard to deal with.

First, I would say, "Really!" Then I would say "where has she been?" Then I would admire you for being so 'Chaste' Then I would think as any normal guy would, that perhaps you are not very good looking! (Probably wrong!) Then I would reproach myself for being a chauvinistic pig! Then come back to admiration for you, whatever your motives were!

Way to go! It shows something about yourself that you're willing to wait. Or, to put it differently, it shows that you consider virginity to be something of value and not something to be wasted on some random guy. Keep up that moral character.
