We're very much alike .. but that's not necessarily a good thing .. because we're both kind of uninspired when it comes to conversation topics. We both enjoy talking about psychology but we don't really seem to be able to find topics anymore ... at least not serious ones. And I'd really prefer not to talk about myself or about her .. too much .. it would get a bit awkward. So please .. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can discuss interesting books you have read lately. Or movies. Since you both enjoy psychology, this is a way you can discuss it without becoming too personal. You cab dissect the psyches of various characters in the books or movies. When My hubby and I were dating we used to like to people watch and make up stories about the people we saw, guessing about their lives.

If you two are serious enough, talk about what your future goals are, where you both want to be a year from now, 2 yrs from now, 10 yrs from now, and so on. Also, talking about vacations are very soothing-and exciting!!!. Try and plan a trip, take her somewhere or something, that will give you something to plan together-which will have you talking about it all the time-once you get there-you will have to think of somethin else to talk about. That's on you.

Well...when you're in a relationship you kind of have to talk about each other, its how you find out everything about them and see if you click. Girls dont like to hear guys going on and on about themselves for hours, so try and ask her things about HER.
Talk about new ideas, try new things...Ex: like if you've both never snowboarded before, try it together...it might bring up new interests and new things to talk about.

start off bye maybe byeing her something. tell her you love her and that she looks great even when she doesn't trust me you will start a conversation. if you don't well maybe you two are not relle maent to be.
