I suspect it's territorial marking.
My friend had a cat who would urinate on ANY article of clothing left on the bed, the floor, etc. Her solution was to always put her clothes safely away from her cat!
If your cat starts marking other objects, ask your vet about Ovaban. It's a pill given every five days that reduces a cat's instinct to mark. Other options are Depo Provera and Amitryptilene.
Good luck!

This sounds as if it is a behavior problem. Have you changed you schedule lately? Has the cat moved recently? Are there new people or pets that are in the cats life? Cats and small children will often act out just to get some attention. Spend some extra time with the cat and make a fuss over her when ever you return from going out and the problem should go away on its own.

-If she is not fixed
-If she prefers a litter box to be cleaned twice a day instead of once
- If she has developed a UTI since the last vet visit.
-If you leave her alone for extended periods of time (i.e. she has a grudge against you)
-If she feels the need to mark her territory around you on your personal things.
If she's not spayed, then I would have that done. Also have her checked for a UTI if you haven't yet. Other than that, if it's a mental thing with her, you'll have to keep all the clothes put away and check your bed sheets everynight.

Cats can be spiteful. It may want your attention or is simply marking its territory. One of mine likes a certain fabric and I had to break her of it but telling her no. Also, cats prefer certain kinds of cat litter. A change may have sparked rebellion.

Cats are very tempermental. Did you do something to make the cat mad? Do you move a lot of furniture around. If I rearrange my house, my cats go nuts because of the change.

is she in heat? are you pregnant? have you been spending more time than usual away from home? have you gotten a new cat or dog? have you started using a new perfume? Do you have a new boyfriend? Or she could be pregnant, in heat, or just mad at you. Did you switch catfoods? forget to refill the catnip mouse?

You are not saying alot of things about the cat like how old it is. If it is around 6 months old and not neutered we will assume that it is in heat.

Lack of attention. My husbands cats did that to him (b4 we met) cuz he was never home. Usually right in the clean clothes basket. Solution...more time with your cat.

If the cat is in specific going for the bean bag... it must be the textile interior the bean bag, or she must be marking her territory on the bean bag. First i might do away with the bean bag itself and the different issues she is peeing on and see if that helps. on the grounds that she's already peed on them she must be going for that heady scent so i might in simple terms replace them (and according to danger not get yet another bean bag chair, lol). So, if she loves it, it must be that she is "marking her territory", although male cats try this extra woman cats additionally try this. i've got heard that cats that at the instant are not spayed/neutered try this extra, so if she's not spayed yet in case you get carry of her spayed that could be effective (shelters will frequently try this for 10-15 money). in spite of the actuality that this is unusual for her to suddenly be doing this after 10 years, whilst she wasn't doing it till now. yet, I did have one cat who as quickly as she have been given to be older 12, to 13, she in simple terms began dropping her continence it style of feels and often times had messes (although commonly of the fecal form) exterior of her muddle container, in spite of the actuality that she had no scientific issues. How frequently is it going on? on the grounds that your cat did have a kidney stone it must be sturdy to have a various vet and ask questions yet $250-$3 hundred is ridiculous basically for some bloodwork, and additionally you do not additionally be attentive to this is that that she has a kidney ailment/an infection! So, i does not choose to pay for that the two, yet additionally animals at the instant are not as sturdy at showing their soreness as people are, so it must be sturdy to seek for advice from with yet another vet. i think of animal humane, and another shelters have loose habit hotlines you should purpose calling, and see in case you're able to do behavioral differences first, do away with the bean bag chair etc., and see if that works, and if not flow see yet another vet.
