i was looking into buying the "easy straight" product thats supposed to straighten your hair at home that last for 3 months.
i have read some horror stories about people going bald when using it and some about it working great. has anyone used it? and what were your results?

Try the "Perfect Blow Out" spray instead. You really shouldn't try to damage your hair that way.

Amber please look at some of the other peoples questions on here and you will find out what happens to people who try this out at home. These products should be outlawed. They are dangerous and have caused so many accidents to so many. I am not familiar with that particular product but straightening/relaxing is one of the most stressful things you can do to hair and it often ruins it. Believe me more often than not. I use a very mild relaxant in my salon but not straighteners. When we use it on someones hair we watch what is going on ALL THE TIME IT IS ON because the difference 5 minutes too long can make is catastrophic. And it CANNOT be reversed. They should call it easy break!

I dont know about lasting for 3 months, but I use a hair - straightener by GHD. Its slightly expensive about £90 on the net. But the hair remains straight till your next wash -ie for a week at least. its one of my best buys and I dont go anywhere without it. Hope this helps, not exactly the answer to your qtn.

It kind of depends on what kind of hair you have...

I have a friend who tried it, and she hated it, so if it were me, I'd go to a professional and get it professionally straightened, because handling chemicals like that is dangerous when you don't know what you're doing - and the company probably won't compensate you if all of your hair falls out from improper use.

You could also try just flat-ironing your hair with a ceramic iron instead..

I'd be careful.
