It's about time. The state legislature has twice voted for same-sex marriage but had it vetoed by the governor. As to those who claim it should be left to the voters; since when should the rights of a minority be decided by the majority? Should the rights of blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc. be decided by whites? Should Catholics determine the rights for Baptists? Gay and lesbian adults are consenting taxpaying Americans who should be afforded the same rights and protections under the law as every other person in this nation. If people don't approve of same-sex marriage they don't have to become involved in one.

No, South Carolina has laws against green clay manthings and red clay horsethings exchanging vows. It is considered immoral and as such illegal. Reference South Carolina State Law 4560 Sec. A, Paragraph 5, Lines 2-8. Tell them to try California, they allow just about anything!

We aren't marrying everything yet. Wait until the gays can legally marry and then we will start marrying dogs to guys and horses to sheep and 3 girls to 1 guy and whatever!!!!
