No, not at all. I believe it is better to be be educated then ignorant and I would rather know what I am protesting about before I protest it. Alot of people say, "Oh, I hate muslims- they are evil" or "I hate jewish people- they are dirty" with out even seeing their religion and what it is all about. I do not want to be one of those people. I consider every religion's teachings and do not stay dedicated to just one. Becaus as the first person said- all religions have their gaps and no religion sees it as acceptable to hate anyone because of any difference. Yet somehow the most religious people in the world are the ones spreading all the hatred. And as far as the monotheistic religions go (Chrisitianity, Judaism, islam)- they are all the same and an eductated person who took the time to read them and study the teachings would know that. No one can deny that there are slight difference in the prophets (Christians added the story of Jesus to the torah and muslims added the story of mohammed to the bible) but they all believe in being a good person and that there is one God that we should put before anything else
I hope this is help

No I am open to debates, this is why I spend so much time on the Internet answering religious questions. I know in my heart that there are some out there who are searching for God and answers to his truth.
For example; The Gospel of John was actually written by John the Baptist as was Revelations. He tells us that he was sent by God, no other Apostle made this claim. He speak as one who has authority not as the other Apostles do.
He declares "This is the record of John" and then goes on to state exactly which John he is.
Many scholars tell you that Emmanuel is Jesus, but that's not what it says. The bible declares John the baptist to be Immanuel. All contradictions in the 4 Gospels are caused by Jesus fulfilling scripture.
Immanuel is in Isaiah 714-15 honey and butter shall he eat. John the Baptist ate lucust and honey. And John the Baptist was born of a virgin.

Words are simply representations of ideas. Still, in order to form a complete "idea" you need many words. If you take some of those words out of context, then that "idea" the words were trying to convey winds up being corrupted.
"Opinions" are the interpretation of those words by people. If the opinions of those people are backed by "evidence" from the Bible, then they deserve to be investigated.
The Apostle Paul would often tell the people of the early Church to "test" those who come to preach to them. If what they said did not conform to the intent of the Bible passages they preached from nor did it conform to the impressions that the Holy Spirit working in the hearers would feel, then Paul wanted them to reject those teachers. Since this is in the Bible, we are to do the same.
We are to test everything. If what I always believed doesn't stand up to the test of the Bible and the Holy Spirit, then I am obligated to change my opinions and know better next time.

I always listen to what the Lord is saying, always have done always will...
Preachers teachers experts have human failings. I believe what God tells me.
Each of us interpret a text in a different way, hence asking God means we get the truth. It doesn't work for everyone but it works for me...

No. I changed denominations after I started reading the Bible. Got to watch out for those false leaders though, they're many...
Study & Pray, that's the only way.

Nope:
It's just that like Christianity they all have their gaps: Even Evolution! So I study them with an open mind, but they don't make anywhere near the sense that Christianity makes.
