It depends. Uncooked, I'd have to say peanut butter and bananas. As for fried or grilled sandwiches, besides burgers, it would have to be grilled egg and cheese.

Mine is a rare roast beef sandwich on a white roll with fresh creamery butter .... the only things that might go on it are:
cress or
mango chutney or
fresh black pepper

You just can't beat a steak sandwich.
It barely deserves to be called a sandwich, its just unfair on all the other sandwiches cos they can't compete in any way.
