Modern scholars of religion have commented on the difficulty of defining what religion is.

In a perhaps impossibly idealized religion, beliefs and practices start out more based on the authority of the founders.

I do not.
I Think religion is False. It can be Good False or Bad False.

If I had to Live on the Earth with Unsaved People who would Never Get Born-Again, I would Pick a Religion that Always tried to do Good.
Wouldn't you?

Very bad, and VERY dangerous.

It used to be ok, I guess, to accept Pascal's Wager and profess a belief in some mythical being "just in case". But, thanks mostly to the muslims, more and more people are finally realizing just how dangerous religion really is. The sooner everyone accepts the fact that there are no gods, the better off we will all be.

I don't believe in any of it, but if it weren't for religion society wouldn't exist. Without something for the dumb masses to believe in anarchy would ensue.

I do. I'm all for personal faith, but organized religion is the work of the devil.
