They will be looking for eternity!! Because there is absolutely no proof!! And one day every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. But then, it will be too late for the atheist.
WOW!!! These answers are very funny! Prove this, prove that, well if you want him to prove there is a God, yet you say you can't prove anything, then why are you guys so sure that there is no God. AND... have you noticed that in science they disprove something and then you find another person who proves the exact same thing...The Bible never changes..read it and you will find everything accurate. Read the book of Revelations..there are all kinds of prophecies in there that are being fulfilled, just like the rest of the Bible.

Many believers will say, "It is impossible for you to prove that God (Allah, Ra, Vishnu, whatever) does not exist. There is no way to prove that something does not exist." This is a silly argument for the following reason.
Imagine that we have a conversation one day and I say to you, "I believe in the gerflagenflopple. You cannot prove that the gerflagenflopple does not exist, therefore it exists." You can see that this is ridiculous. Just because I have invented something out of thin air does not mean that its non-existence is suddenly unprovable. There has to be some evidence that the gerflagenflopple exists in order to assert its existence. Since there is not, it is quite easy to say that the gerflagenflopple is imaginary.
Now let's imagine that we have a conversation one day and I say to you, "I believe in Leprechauns. You cannot prove that Leprechauns do not exist, therefore they exist." You actually have heard of Leprechauns. There are lots of books, movies and fairy tales dealing with Leprechauns. People talk about Leprechauns all the time. Leprechauns even have a popular brand of breakfast cereal. But that does not mean that Leprechauns exist. There is no physical evidence for the existence of Leprechauns. Not a single bit. Therefore, it is obvious to any normal person that Leprechauns are imaginary.
If you think about it, you will realize that there is no difference between God and Leprechauns. Lots of people talk about God as though he exists, but there is no actual evidence for God's existence. For example:
God has never left any physical evidence of his existence on earth.
All historical gods were imaginary and we know it. (see this page)
None of Jesus' "miracles" left any physical evidence either. (see this page)
God has never spoken to modern man, for example by taking over all the television stations and broadcasting a rational message to everyone.
The resurrected Jesus has never appeared to anyone. (see this page)
The Bible we have is provably incorrect and is obviously the work of primitive men rather than God. (see this page)
When we analyze prayer with statistics, we find no evidence that God is "answering prayers." (see this page)
Huge, amazing atrocities like the Holocaust and AIDS occur without any response from God.
And so on…
There is absolutely no evidence indicating that God exists. There is a tremendous amount of empirical evidence that God does not exist. Therefore we can conclusively say that God is imaginary. That is the only thing that a rational person can say.

Can't disprove a negative.
We can disprove organized religion taken in a literal sense.
There is 100% proof there wasn't a global flood, there are no signs of a global flood. Evidence is not something that just might have been left behind, there would be evidence everywhere in fact, there is none anywhere.
We know for certain that the macro-evolution of species occurs, with countless transitional forms and partial forms in our possession.
We know that the human race is older than 6-12k years old.
The list goes on. You can't just make up anything and disprove it, but luckily, the religious texts of many religions give us that possibility. Religions like Buddhism and Hinduism are much harder to falsify due to their structure. Then again, Buddhism is not a theistic religion.

You can't disprove anything completely. But I'll give you the best argument against God, in my opinion:
Creationism essentially says that God was there at the beginning. God, if he exists, would have to be the most complicated, advanced, complex thing in the entire universe. Christianity tells us that he was there right from the beginning of time. He did not need to evolve from anything; he did not need to be created from anything; the most advanced thing in history was ALREADY THERE when everything began. One moment, nothing; the next moment, complex intelligence unlike anything else. Does that make sense? Is that even possible? No and no, in my opinion. That's why the concept is illogical.

That would be like trying to prove without any doubt that God exists. It cannot be done.
Religion being a matter of faith, proof is not needed. The ability to believe with the heart when reason gives doubt is where religion is based.

But your asking for proof of the non-existence of your God. Last time I checked, the person who brings up a negative should at least give some arguments/proof for his/her existence. The burden of proof is on you.
Anyways, whats the difference between fact and fiction? Reality or fantasy?

You got me. I can't. You win. I guess I better start going to church now. There goes sleeping in on Sundays now.
Haven't heard this one before. Tell me this, how does one prove that something does not exist? The burden of proof always is placed on the person claiming something does exist.
I guess we need to start a Logic 101 class in here or something.

I aqm not an atheist but there is no direct proof of a GOD or of No GOD so why should this question be asked at all? This is just a bit rediculous, don't you thinkl attempting to rile up a group that has no reason to be. Allow some discourse on this site please!
Thanks,

You prove to me that there IS a God. I'm not going to base my whole life around a MAYBE - "maybe there is a God so I will devote my life to Him just in case"
NO THANK YOU. I would rather enjoy my life, if He can't even be bothered to prove he exists, why should I devote myself to Him???

Can you prove the Loch Ness Monster does not exist?
A basic concept of SCIENCE is that you cannot prove the non-existence of X.
However, you can turn it on it's head by asking "What is the evidence that X exists?" No evidence of X suggests that the probability of X existing is approaching zero.
Have a nice day.
