I have some acne and a ton of blackheads and clogged pores like on and around my nose. What kind of mask should I get for this? I'd prefer a peel off one but anything that works would be great....
and dont say proactiv!

I am a licensed Esthetician and do facials for a living. The very best mask you can use (on any skin type) is quaker oats mixed with water and a little tiny bit of honey. After it sits on your face for 20 minutes, scrape it off and the milk that is left on your face should be rubbed in, don't wash it off!
Many skin care product lines have "oatmeal masks" that we chare clients upwards of $25 for. It's the same thing!!

i believe in natural remedies....i would mix a little milk and lemon juice with some gram flour. this makes a paste, put it all over your face..wait till it dries and wash it off with lukewarm water.
here are some tips of achieving a healthy face
1) only wash your face with lukewarm or cold water!the capillaries in the face die with hot water and don't grow back for another 48 hours
2) try neutrogena rainbath body wash for your face and body..you may be putting too many chemicals on your face..just sit back and use a nice cleanser for a while so your face can rejuvenate
3) eat healthy, fruits, veggies, etc.
4) try the natural remedy, if it doesn't work..murad has nice acne stuff...but rainbath worked best for me...i had mild acne

Olay Dialy facials Intensive cleansing clay maks you can get at drugstores for $7.00 or try Queen Helene's Mint Juplene Clay maks, you can get that at Sally's Beauty Supply. Good luck and you should use a clay mask once a month before your period to prevent acne from coming and its good for oily skin.

Proactiv works seriously but use noxema,neutrogena, or clearasil. I use all three and if its that serious use all three the same. After about 1month your face will really clear I gave this same advice to my best friend cuz she was lukin horrible and 2 months later for prom she was gorgeous her face cleared up and it was smooth.

i have heard french green clay works really well, and also you can make a mixture of green tea, honey, and mashed banana and let it sit on your face for 20 mins or so.
