ok the starvation mode is when your body gets the idea that you are starving, that you are dying.. then it starts saving fat for the hard time it believes is coming... the result is you don;t lose weight and miraclously you gain fat.... and lose TONS of muscle... so yeah, you lose weight cause you lose muscle, which is heavier than fat... but you gain lots of fat. Your body can't tell the difference between a diet and when you are starving to death.

There's some many problems with a diet like this...by eating regular meals you speed up your metabolism, which helps you to lose weight anyway. Your body will not be functioning correctly if you aren't eating regularly and properly - your stomach won't know what the hell is going on. Give this up and have 3 - 5 meals a day!

eating like this will definitely cause a drop in your metabolism and cause your body to go into starvation mode...you need to eat throughout the day to maintain your blood sugar levels as well

thats not a good idea b/c you load up on carbs and stuff only at one period. eat 5-8 small meals during the day and you will lose weight and your body will be better. its just like, the more you take away from a little kid, the more he wants it back. if you deny your body food, when you do eat, you eat a lot more, and a Lot more unhealthy foods. kick the habit....and soon!

You are burning your own fat and muscle. Meaning your body eats itself basically. You will gain more fat that way. Also, eating a lot later at night puts all that pressure on you. It keeps you up longer, makes you want to eat more. You gain weight eating like that. I used to eat like that, but then I added breakfast and I immediately LOST weight.

Breakfast should be your large meal and dinner should be a light one. Throughout the day, your activities will help burn the calories.

its not good to eat alot at night.it dont give your food a chance to digest, before bedtime.when you eat and go to bed,it gives the fat a chance to store itself in your body.
