Hi i'm 5'4 and 95 pounds. I've tried dieting off and on and i feel like if i don't watch what i eat then my weight will get carried away. What do you guys think of my current weight now and what do you recommend on how to stay healthy and fit without having to diet so much?

Well personally, I think the only diet you need to go on is one to gain weight. Being 5'4 and 95 pounds is most likely far under your BMI index.

People can be healthy and heavier weights; you might even find yourself filling out more in places you wish you had filled out if you had gained some more weight.

Try stopping dieting, because I feel that you're probably a teenage girl with insecurities who is conforming to the image of an "ideal woman" due to the women portrayed in magazines. Most women do NOT look like that.

And, in fact, most men don't WANT their women to look like that...

Or, at least that's my experience with it.

Try this website: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/. It will tell you if your weight is appropriate for your height and your age. However, will you listen if it tells you you weigh too little? Can you accurately see how you look?

You don't have to diet. You should eat foods that are healthy in quantities that support what you do. You should also exercise about 30 minutes a day, probably by just walking. You do need to learn how to eat, and you need to learn not to fear your weight, because right now you're trapped by your fears.

At 5'4" your actual weight should be between 100-110 pds. At that weight you would have a BMI of 19 and that's the lowest on the scale. Any smaller and you don't even register on the BMI scale. If you gained 5 pds, you would be fine and not just fat. You can gain 5 pds in muscle, it would be healthier.

no I'm 11 and I weight more than that but just try to gain like by playing sports u get muscles and that helps put some weight on.
