My dad works in Orange, but everyday to work, he passes by Angel stadium.

It's actually far enough from L.A. It's not even in Los Angeles County---it is in Orange County. Specifically, Anaheim is located 28 miles southeast of Los Angeles. It is most famous for being the location of DisneyLand.
