Tell him to contact his dealer. Most car companies do not void warranties due to aftermarket audio. If they do tell him it will void warranty, simply remove car system from car for warranty service, this way they will have no aftermarket equipment to blame for the fault. And simply re-install system when done.

Well nothing can really void your warranty unless it is the direct cause of the problem. Meaning that they would have to prove that those subwoofers caused whatever problem you are trying to get covered under the warranty to deny it.
As long as you have a professional install it and do not mess up the electronics you are probably fine. I recently had my speedometer go out which would cause my car to stall occasionally. Had to buy a new speedo cable, other parts, etc. only to find that when my radio was installed a wire was left loose which somehow caused the speedo to crap out. So that was about 8 hours of diagnostic time involved in finding the problem. And if my car had been under warranty you can bet that the dealer would not have covered this repair, or the diagnostic time because it was installed somewhere else and was a direct cause of my problem.
So be careful. But they cannot deny your warranty claim unless something you did specifically caused the failure or problem.

As long as you don't drill no.
Speakers do do squat as far as the warranty is concerned. Now if you go drilling holes into the car, then that voids a warranty.
Unless a professional installer does the drilling....

Yes and no. If you hook up straight to the battery for your power supply and his battery goes dead in two days they might deny that. But they have to prove that the amp caused the damage. the only other thing they might deny could be the alternator. But if your timing belt slipped and you bent some valves(which is common on these cars) they couldn't deny anything.

you spoke to a retard, it won't void the guaranty....in case you do it perfect, or get it finished perfect. as quickly as I went to my dealership for artwork, they have been searching for the biggest to my wheel lock for changing tires and that they stated "we thought it must be interior the trunk, yet we weren't going to touch all that stereo kit!" they knew i had "changed" the audio device, yet they didnt care. additionally, there frequently isnt a guaranty concerning inventory automobile audio device or sound device, yet on condition that aspects are broken, i.e. inventory radio, amp (if suitable), audio device, etc. as an occasion, in case your radio blows by using commonly used use, they'll replace it below guarantee. yet once you upload a radio, audio device, subs, etc., you would be positive. my advice is to communicate to the somewhat provider supervisor on the dealership. or, you should deploy aftermarket audio device in the back of the paneling (if thats how yours at the instant are) and that they wont additionally be attentive to they're aftermarket. and whilst you're sturdy sufficient, "cover" a 4-channel amp someplace for the audio device. sturdy success

most likely not. they have to have 100% proof that the subs caused the damage. plus nowdays subs are a common mod so they will generally be harmless.
