I know some of you will say that Christianity will not be disproven, but when it is disproven, should we continue in the Christian lifestyle?

Some things to consider:
When Christianity is disproven, mankind will have to realize that we need a reason-based morality that is more sure than the old Christian-based one.

If Christians are living within the context of a "good" but erroneous belief, then are we holding ourselves back culturally by virtue of the fact that people are choosing to believe something by way of faith only which lends itself to all manner of beliefs that can potentially harm culture and individuals.

The formula for knowledge is therefore tainted with this blight. WIthout this element in knowledge, we are forced to use science and WYSIWYG and reason.

This is one small example of how religious fundamentalism destroys knowledge.

Christianity taken anywhere near a literal sense has already been disproven.

Regardless, no, the Bible is a book full of hate.

I have a better idea. Let us look at Jesus as a philosopher, like Plato. His ideas are a good basis for behavior. If he is found to have only been a Shaman, he was a very good one and we can learn much from him. I would still follow his 'way'. There in nothing in the teaching of Jesus that goes against science and reason.. except a little miracle now and then..

I don't know where you got this information, but let me share with you reality. There is no way that you can disprove God, and if you are going along with this "Jesus' bones found" then you are wasting every-bodies time. It is James Cameron for crying out loud! Let me ask you this: Isn't it strange that no other religion is attacked as much as the christian religion? The reason why, is that we are all disobedient to God, that is the bottom line. God doesn't want to control you, He gives you and I free will to accept or reject Him. This is a decision you are going to have to make if you haven't already, but it is all real, read the book "My 90 Minutes in Heaven," excellent book. Don't get caught up in all of this garbage that everyone is throwing at all of us, seek God while He may be found, because He loves you more than you will ever know. Don't lose your life over pride, and don't stand before God when you die trying to justify your life, only to realize that Jesus Christ is the life, without Him, only death.

When Christianity is disproved ? DO IT NOW !
What if, maybe, and make believe. Atheist babble is all you have.
Is there a Moral Law ? Obviously you think not, so the answer to your question is simple," only might makes right".
Welcome to the world of Hitler and Stalin, both atheist like you.
To the Christian, Moral law is so right that God himself obeys Moral Law. The answer to your question depends entirely on the concept of might makes right.
If God himself is Almighty, then his command to obey Moral Law is absolute and you are in deep eternal trouble.
If you are right then only might or force is morally correct.. The answer to your question is simple to live by the sword is the only proper lifestyle and all other lifestyles are in error

Okay, I hate when people do this, but I'm going to give you a personal link. It's to a certain entry in my xanga, from last August. I hope you don't mind, but I spent a lot of time on it, and it addresses your question perfectly.

It's an entry on a cross between a C.S. Lewis book and the Bible story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind. Here's the link:

you dont have to be a christian to have morals. Being a person who cares even the slightest about others is enough to stop us from doing things that are harmful to others.

No. Christianity gives an oversimplified, one-size-fits-all answer to the varying problems of many different people:

"No sex unless you're married and want a baby; and obey your church unquestioningly. Oh, and if you believe the Jesus story, you get a get-out-of-hell-free card."

That's not real helpful for anybody who is incapable of blind obedience.

Kind of curious how a it can be "disproven", but anyway...

It would depend. Can humanism provide us with objective truth? With a universal morality? I think not.
