What does it mean for a man who you haven't talked to in a couple of years...and the relationship ended badly becuase he was a prick....he emails me and apologizes for being a crappy person and that he 'didn't know where he was going in life' at that point. And then to top it off, he signs it, 'one love.' is this guy regretting what he said? Is he hoping we get back together? input please!!!

Slow down! Your answer is Yes, but at the sametime you should be concerned with WHY. I wish I knew a little bit more about the dynamics of your relationship with him a couple of years ago. Without knowing much thou I'm concern, not just by the way he contact you, but how excited you are to have it. Lets face it the heart doesn't forget, althou it can forgive, and relationships have a habit of picking up right were they left off. With that said be careful. Any real lovin son of a gun isn't going to wait 2 years to get ahold of the love of their life.He most likly most of ran into some bad space in his life and is reminder a time when it was so much better. And is going to take advantage of the scars he left on your heart to get his next chance. Lets also face that the old "don't know where he was going in life" saying is just a cope out for not doing your homework before hand. You don't go into relationships to find purpose, you find your purpose so you have something to bring to the damn relationship. Its want divides man from boys, so make him work for it this time if you give him a chance. Make him tell you all about where he is going in life now, make him tell you the truth behind the 2 year disappeance, and make him explain why he feels so strongly for you.
