I recently made a toy for my 2 year old using PVC pipe. Now I'd like to paint it; probably using primary colors.

BUT

The toy can bend in some places and I don't want any paint I put on to flake or peel off.

Is there another way I can *colorize* PVC pipe?

There are paints for plastics on the market. You'll also need to scuff the surface and apply a primer. Don't know how it would stand up to stretching.
