i have just bought a new digi camera but my pictures are too big to put on my phone can someone tell me why?

I'm assuming u mean the size of the pics are too big for ur phone?
well the only thing u can do is - reduce it.... change its format if u can....
you wanna know why? because cell phones invented till now are not enough to carry off more than 3 MP pics while most digicams offer upto 8MP pics.

number of pixels, you can reduce the image, ie reduce is quality, remember to safe it under a different name, or you will loose the higher quality image
