How long do I wait to eat after whitening my teeth?

I just used one of those strips. Do I wait to eat and if so how long?

You can eat immediately, but don't eat any colored foods for 24 hours, the tubules in the teeth are still open from the bleaching. Only colorless foods.

I would not eat foods with color; for example- mustard,ketchup, candy, and u should avoid drinking kool-aid, & soda. Also, try to eat as few sugars as possible. I wish u luck!
