The question many men have asked themselves since dating began. Personally what I've found works best is to just ask her. She will either say yes or no & you can move on if she says no, after all there's never a shortage of girls/women who would love to go out. Once you gain the confidence in yourself it becomes pretty easy to ask & there are a lot of lonely women who are just waiting to be asked!

Relax & ask her in person if you can, it's always better than calling because it shows you're really focusing on her.

If you're that concerned about not having her friendship anymore, remember that the situation you're in right now is not that uncommon. I've been in the same situation as you are now once before. And she said yes, we dated for some time then as we got a little older we stopped dating but remained great friends to this day. After all the years that have past since we were just two kids out playing there are no regrets.

If the friendship is strong enough then asking her that one question will not ruin what you two already have. In my situation we had been close friends since we were kids in school & even played together many times. I was so comfortable with her because I knew our friendship was strong from the years of growing up & sharing lots of experiences with each other.

If she's a good friend then she'll understand that these things happen & not change her views/feelings for you. If she walks away or tells you she doesn't want to see you again even as a friend then ask yourself this.....just how close was the friendship to begin with? A good friend will forgive almost anything & what you're asking isn't a friendship breaker.

no guts, no glory! go for it or you'll never know. if you get rejected, the horrible feeling will pass, trust me! And it's great practice for later!
