Duh??? If you are baptized into the Christian church and it is done in a Baptist church.. that makes you a member of the Baptist church too.

Well, baptism is just a sign for other believers that you've accepted salvation.
Are you a member of another church? If so, why do you want to be baptized in a different one? If this was the case, I think I'd rather be baptized in front of people I have a connection and commitment to.
If you're NOT a member of another church, why are you opposed to joining the one you wish to be baptized in? Every Christian has the responsibility to join and fellowship in a church. If you don't wish to join this church, hold off on the baptism until God shows you the right place.

Southern baptist churched require baptism of a new Christian to be considered a member . Christians coming from another demonination can usually join by letter or statment
