I have been throwing up a lot and having bad diarrhea and gas. I took immodium 2 days ago to stop my diarrhea but I am now constipated and have lots of gas. My stomach really hurts! What is some good food/tips in a situation like this?

Try to resist eating foods such as dairy products and green leafy vegetables. Try eating some egg noodles or chicken soup. It may also be a good idea to drink water to help clear whatever caused this problem, (in the first place), out of your system. If gas is still a problem try drinking carbonated water or ginger-ale/ sprite.

And if all else fails pour yourself a glass of ginger ale or sprite and put a 1/4 teaspoon of salt into it and stir. It may not taste the best but it relieves the pressure and will help settle your stomach.

Hope this helps!

Fresh papaya would help the constipation and gas situation. This has incredible enzymes that destroy bad things in your digestive tract. Try to eat as much as possible.

You can get over the counter gas relief tablets which may be necessary if the pain continues.

Yoghurt is great for the digestive system because of the good bacteria in it. It will regulate the "bad" germs that are causing so much pain. Green leafy vegetables, wholegrain pasta and bread is also a great source of fibre. Even though alot of people dont like it, Prune Juice will also help regulate it as well. Cheers and goodluck!

Most of the time when people are having stomach issues such as with the flu or what have you, they are told to stick to a B.R.A.T. diet. It is an acronym for: Bread, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast.
Steer clear of diary and just try to eat bland foods. You might also give the doc a call.

first of all you should probably consult a physician for something like this because everybody is different and your problem may not be anything like someone elses no matter how common it may sound.however i have experienced similar conditions for which i cured with a regulated diet.the irregularities in my diet lead to the same in bowel movements.as far as puking,im stumped.like a said you may have a deadly bacterial infection with the same common symptoms of the stomach flu.
